GREAT GATSBY

Couple of days ago I spent an evening with Mr. Gatsby. And I must say he was/is really GREAT! And not only because of charismatic Leonardo DiCaprio...

All the movie catched me so much that I have to see it again. But not in the cinema. At home. Pressing "pause" all the time to take a detailed look at those magnificent costumes!!

 

Big compliment and appreciation to Catherine Martin who created all the costumes for this movie in colaboration with famous Miuccia Prada.

I was wondering what to wear for this occasion. Jeans would be too ordinary, evening dress too much... Finally I decided for an elegant and comfortable outfit.

PARK FIT

 

 

 

 

Dubai starts to be really hot in these days. Gyms are full and parks empty...
Couple of days ago I bought new helpers for my sweating time. I started with a new pink sport bra from FOREVER 21. They have a wide range of them in many bright neon colors! Each for only 25 AED!!

I continued with new NIKE stuff - shoes, shorts and tank top. I bought them in The Sun & Sands Sports on Airport road. They have big sales nowdays - up to 70%. So run run - you still have time until May 31st!

And my sport bag is from Dragon mart for only 50 AED. Yes!!!! :)

STAR TREK FAN

 

Yesterday I was in the cinema after a long time.. When it comes to movies, I choose carefully. I´m not the type of a viewer who has to see all the action blockbusters. But when it comes to sci-fi - it´s a different story...

The new STAR TREK - INTO DARKNESS movie has arrived to Dubai and for me it´s a must see!!!

And guess who´s my favourite character? :)

I think everybody has noticed that NEON COLORS dominate this spring/summer season.

It´s fresh, it´s juicy and very summer looking. I put them to my today´s outfit.

CHANEL - LITTLE BLACK JACKET EXHIBITION

Hi everyone,

I´m happy to announce the start of my blogging!!!!!

I´ve been working on my blog for some time and friends keep asking me:
„When are you going to start finally??!“ I was just waiting for some festive occasion.

And I think there couldn´t be better time than today. Because today is very special for someone who is interested and somehow connected to fashion like me. And with occasion connected with such a great name like Karl Lagerfeld!!!

Yes!!! TODAY I visited famous „LITTLE BLACK JACKET EXHIBITION“ in Dubai Downtown.

 

 

For those who don´t know what to expect... This exhibition dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld´s latest book 'The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld,' (will be available worldwide in bookshops this autumn) contains 113 portraits. The statement piece and connection between all the photos is the classic iconic CHANEL ´s Little Black Jacket invented by Coco Chanel in 1954. The people on the pictures are friends of the House – models, actors, singers, artists... Even all of them are wearing that JACKET, they keep their own style and personality. The great thing is that even such a classic piece can be so versatile and timelessness! It´s amazing! Even on the men it was looking interesting!! J

You shouldn´t miss this great experience!!!

The entry is free and the exhibition ends on May 11th.
